Please allow me to introduce myself as an artist. My name is Yoshimi C. Fuqua. I was born in Okinawa, Japan. I studied oil painting at the Musashino Art College in Tokyo and graduated in 1977.
My paintings include nature, still life, and portraits in various mediums: oil, acrylic, watercolor and sumi-e, the art of Japanese brush painting with black sumi ink and Japanese calligraphy. I have also provided illustrations for a manuscript, " A Destiny between Two
Worlds. "
I have had exhibitions in Japan, Korea, and in the U.S.A. many times. I am glad that people of different cultures have enjoyed my art work.

For the past forty years my passion has fueled my work--- and it remains as strong as
it ever has.
Today I am selling sumi-e, Japanese calligraphy, watercolors and oil paintings .
I hope you find them interesting.
Thank you very much !
